Education and Credentials
A native of Houma, Louisiana, Dr. Ross Bunch studied at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. He completed his medical training at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans. After completing his General Surgery training, Dr. Bunch worked with world-renowned facial cosmetic surgeons as a Plastic Surgery Resident at the LSU/Charity Hospital program, where he underwent extensive training in microsurgery, cosmetic surgery and reconstructive surgery.
Following his training with top surgeons in the field of rhinoplasty, Dr. Bunch was honored to be accepted into the prestigious Rhinoplasty Society. He has extensive training in the art of endoscopic cosmetic procedures, incorporating endoscopic breast augmentation, as well as forehead and mid-face lifts, into his surgical schedule at Plastic Surgery of Tuscaloosa.
Dr. Bunch is an Associate Professor at the University of Alabama School of Medicine and an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and the National Rhinoplasty Society. He is an active supporter of the University of Alabama's Cancer Center, where he is a guest lecturer on breast cancer support techniques. Dr. Bunch also lectures on bariatric surgical procedures and their unique requirements for plastic surgeons.
